Areas of Digital Expertise

email marketing + Fundraising

More than anything, we value a love of writing. From sending advocacy emails on behalf of non-profits, to get-out-the-vote efforts for super PACs, to fundraising for incumbent officeholders and new candidates alike, we keep up on what works to get users to open, read, and click through your emails. Learning techniques from the experimental bleeding edge of electoral politics, we can bring our expertise to your email marketing campaigns — whether you’re running for office or trying to sell more pizza.

Community Management

No matter whether you’re on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or even TikTok, we believe that the key part of social media is social. Whether that means replying to questions on a client’s Facebook page in a timely manner or having playful banter with a brand’s fans on Twitter, it is important to let your fans, customers, or voters know that you’re listening and care what they have to say.

Facebook advertising

In 2018, we worked with the American Federation of Teachers on a member-to-member advertising program leading up to that year’s elections. In only five weeks, we ran 217 ads across 34 states for a total of more than 4 million impressions — all through Facebook Business Manager and its advertising networks on Instagram and Facebook. We are currently working with &pizza on the launch of a Facebook ad program to determine the best options to maximize ROI across their stores.

Social Media Autopsy

Don’t know if you’re Facebook posts are reaching the right audience? Is Twitter worth spending staff time on? Let us dig into the statistics behind your social media presences and translate our findings into plain English. Whether you’re working for a nonprofit who needs to make sure ever dollar goes toward helping your cause or a store looking to get more people coming in the door (and keep them coming back), we can find out what works and what doesn’t so you can stop wasting time and energy on social media.

Project Management

As Digital Campaign Manager at Share Our Strength, Kyle worked with advertising partner MediaVest to design and target donated ad placements. While phase one (“Great Nations Eat”) was launched before his tenure, Kyle was deeply involved in the planning and execution of the phase 1.5 bridge campaign (“Scraped Plate”). When comparing the 52-day period of Scraped Plate to the first 52 days of Great Nations Eat, the email address acquisition rate improved five-fold; Facebook Likes grew at 12 times the rate.

Social Media Content

As one U.S. Senator’s first digital director, Kyle was able to make a mark on how she runs a digital program. The Senator’s major focus for her personal and campaign’s digital presence was social media, which included long-term social media strategy, mid-term social media calendar creation, and the daily drafting of social media content – keeping relevance to the political moment and re-election in mind.
